The Jockey Hollow Stamp Club has over 30 dues-paying members, including dealers, specialists, and hobbyists. Regardless of experience levels, all share a common interest in Philately. A typical club meeting has an activity, perhaps a speaker or special presentation on a topic of interest, as well as an opportunity for members and visitors to browse members’ items for sale or exchange. The club holds quarterly auctions, with a few dozen lots typically on auction, usually an interesting mixture of US, Worldwide, Publications, etc. APS circuit books are available every month, for review and purchase.

Members frequently bring in an item to share — perhaps to seek colleagues’ assistance in identification, or to present an interesting cover, or to show examples of varieties of some issue. Also, members share information about other auctions, bourses, and stamp shows. Frequently there are door prizes. Visitors are always welcome!

JHSC publishes a quarterly journal. In addition to the bi-monthly meetings, Jockey Hollow Stamp Club organizes activities, including two visits to APS in Pennsylvania every year.

Meetings are held the 1st & 3rd Monday evenings of the month (except major holidays) at 7:30 in the cafeteria (1st floor) conference room of the Rehabilitation Institute of the Morristown Memorial Hospital (Mt. Kemble Div.), 95 Mt. Kemble Ave., Rt. 202…0.6 miles south of “The Green” in Morristown. (Lots of parking in the lot across the street.) Please see the bottom of this page for a map.

Meeting Programs include: Member Show & Tell presentations, Guest Speakers, APS slide shows, “How To” sessions, club trips to the APS. Club member auctions are held quarterly and guests are always welcome at our meetings. We are sponsors of occasional collector bourses during the year; please check the website or call for dates and table availability.
